What % of the animals feed is grass and what is supplemented? And What is the supplemented food?

We supplement seasonally.  In winter it goes to 6% and in summer as low as 2%,  We supplement with minerals, phosphate and protein 

Is any supplementary animal feed GMO and glyphosate free?

Not easily verified, but we do strive to maintain that

Are the animals outside 24/7?

Yes

Are synthetic fertilizers, herbicides or pesticides used in the land where the animals graze?

No, All natural veldt or pastures

Are they regeneratively grazed: managed under a planned grazing system – moved to a new grazing area regularly so the pasture is allowed sufficient rest before the animals return?

Yes, in the protocol there is strict selection with regards to regeneration.

How do you manage predators (if any!)

What breeds do you have?

A composite beef breed with a mix of Hereford, Angus, Brangus, Beefmaster and Stormberger, Sheep breeds are mostly Merino and Dohne Merino

How often are your animals impregnated and how?

Annually and naturally

Are your animals ever transported by road how is their comfort and humane treatment assured?

Yes, we adhere to strict policies when we transport animals, the PH of the carcasses are measured in order to confirm that the transport was done correctly.

What is your protocol on giving antibiotics or hormones to the animals?

We have a strict no routine antibiotic or growth simulant rule.  Any animal needing antibiotics are taken out of the system entirely.

Do you use preservatives or additives in your your production process? 

90% of our products is free of preservatives, MSG and additives.  The products that do contain them are clearly marked and up to the preference of the consumer

We are a certification body that only buy in certified grass fed animals.  We do supply about 10% of the meat from our own farm, but the rest is from certified farmers.
